PORT STEPHENS SAILING AND AQUATIC CLUB Inc.

MEMBERSHIP

New members are very welcome at PSSAC! We encourage you to come down to the club and talk to any of our members on Sundays during the sailing season. Alternatively call any of our Committee members via the numbers provided on the Contacts page.

PSSAC Annual Membership costs are as follows:

Senior: $35.00

Junior: $20.00

Family: $50.00

Boat Storage: $50.00 (limited availability)

These memberships are low compared to other clubs. To keep these fees low we require members to assist in the running of Regatta events.

In order to sail as a member of the PSSAC you must be a member of YNSW. PSSAC Inc arranges YNSW membership when you join the club or renew your annual membership. Annual YNSW membership fees are (in addition to PSSAC membership fees):

Senior: $42.00

Junior: $21.00

Weekly sailing fees are $3.00 per week (to cover fuel and maintenance on rescue equipment). Members can elect to pay a lump sum of $80.00 for the season and receive a discount.

What do you get for your money?

Membership to the PSSAC for one year (the membership year runs from Sep to Sep.
Membership of YANSW, including discounts at various marine suppliers and discount boat insurance.
Assistance and advice on buying a boat or leaning to sail. We are not a YA approved Training Centre, however, our members can provide advice on where to obtain professional lessons, where and how to buy a boat, and can help with advice on how to improve your skills if you are a beginner.
A relaxed, social atmosphere, social BBQs and a quiet drink after racing while enjoying the beautiful, uncrowded Port Stephens waterways.
